Dahlia Kitchen

East Las Vegas ยท December 2025

We began this renovation for a beautiful, growing family with busy schedules and a love for hosting. The vision was to create a space that felt both elevated and welcoming - where everyday routines and gatherings could coexist effortlessly.

To achieve this, we reimagined the entire layout of the home. We removed the wall that once divided the kitchen and living room, creating a more open and connected space for entertaining. We also closed an existing window - one that did not bring in meaningful natural light - to allow for a more functional stove placement. To enhance privacy, we closed off the opening leading to the bedrooms and introduced a pocket door, creating a more intentional separation between public and private areas of the home.

The design centers around a warm contrast of light wood cabinetry paired with rich, dark countertops, bringing depth and balance to the kitchen. The ledge above the stove, was intentionally incorporated to display everyday essentials- spices, small objects, and meaningful pieces - adding both function and personality.

Layered lighting was especially important to our clients. We curated a combination of overhead, undercounter, and undercabinet lighting to enhance both ambiance and functionality. A statement chandelier, the DALI D02 6-Light Pendant Lamp from Olive Lab, was installed above the island, anchoring the space and adding a sculptural focal point.

The result is a kitchen that feels warm, intentional, and beautifully lived in - designed to support both quiet mornings and lively evenings with family and friends.
